It was wonderful to have my image 'Ballerina Thistle' selected into the ING Discerning Eye Exhibition 2023 held at The Mall Galleries from 17th to 26th November. Even more thrilling was to find out that Tony Adams, the football and Strictly star, selected it! The Artist Preview night was great fun and I even managed a selfie with Tony! The exhibition was a feast for the eyes with all styles of artwork chosen by six selectors from different areas of the art world, namely Chris Levine, Julian Wild, Peju Oshin, Eliza Gluckman, Ian H Watkins and Tony Adams.
The Discerning Eye Exhibition is a visual arts focused educational charity that provides bursaries for artists to help with their artistic practice as well as to provide the opportunity to be part of the exhibition.
My 'Ballerina' Thistle' stood proud amongst such a sea of talent. The Limited Edition print is a framed giclee print on Hahnemuhle Pearl paper which gives the image a 3D quality and wonderful detail. Available to purchase directly from the Discerning Eye website until 31st December.
