STOP LOOK LISTEN
While on an artist led audio tour of downtown Houston TX, I found that I was not listening to the words being spoken through the headphones. The words being spoken were not part of the historical stories I had expected but instead were simply orders for us to do this or do that. I didn't see any point in them but I was attracted to the sight of my fellow participants as they followed these audio instructions without any interaction with each other or their surroundings. This was entertaining at first but as the tour progressed and became more conceptual I became uneasy while taking photographs of the others blindly following the instructions being given to them by the anonymous voice.
Not one person was thinking for themselves. All they did was stop, look and listen.
